Girl Wash Your Face Chapters 1-3

We have had some great discussion on this book so far!  It is soooo good!  I am not going to do too many spoilers for those of you who haven’t read yet.  But I  do want to share some questions that you may feel free to use as you read.  These questions are also open to discussion even if you are not reading along.

Chapter 1:
1. What feeds your spirit?  Make a list or journal your thoughts.
2. From your list, which one of those feeds your spirit the most?  Which one do you wish you could do more?  What is keeping you from doing this?

Chapter 2:
1. What promises are you making to yourself and then breaking?  How does this compare to promises you make to others?  To co-workers or your job?
2. Do you give up before you start?
3.  Focus on one thing: what promise do you want to make to yourself?  Nothing is too small.  If you are serious write this promise out and make it.  Give it up to God.

Chapter 3
1. What things in your past influence the type of worker you are?
2. What type of worker are you?

Verse for thought: John 6:51 “I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Would love for you to share your promise so we can keep each other accountable!

My Promise:  I promise myself that I am going to find some solitude in each day even if for just a few minutes.  Solitude feeds and energizes my spirit.

And We Are Off!!

And it's as simple as this I think my friends...

I wanted to start our blog so we could all share and communicate daily with our lives. There is no better way than to walk it day to day with others and since our world is so technology driven seems to make sense that we have a way to chat in new ways.  I feel this will evolve into much more in the future, but for now, I am so excited to make it simple and just talk.

So let's get started and test this out. Start chatting and lets see how this will pan out and what adjustments I will need to make.

Love you Ladies!
